Hi. I’m Katie.

I am a mama, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a teacher, and a photographer. I am a cook, a cleaner, a crafter, a healer, a taxi driver, an entertainer, a magic-maker, a worshipper. My hubs is a train conductor and my best friend. My son is my inspiration, my daughter my muse. I like hedgehogs and orange kittens. I am obsessive-compulsive about folding towels and organizing cupboards, but my house is never clean. I have to shake my foot if I am sitting for any length of time. You’ll hardly ever see me without my sweater. I play the piano, but not too well. I'm a December baby. I like to knit, sew, paint, and pick up other random crafts whenever I can. I love to have freshly shaved legs, but never find the time to do it. I like to be right. I'm usually wrong. I use cheap shampoo and expensive soap. I like biscuits with honey and peanut butter with ice cream. I'm a hippy at heart. I hate the rain but love splashing in puddles. My favorite ride at Disneyland is Thunder Mountain Railroad. I like to read scary books but have to be near someone when I do. I love the color yellow. And green. And orange. And pink. Ok, I love them all. I love fresh sheets. I have quadruple E size "Shrek" feet. No, that’s real - my feet are bigger around than they are long. I like creamsicles. I used to hate coffee, but now I have an addiction I just can't shake. I root for the underdog. I sleep with the covers over my head. I still believe in Santa Claus and the magic of Christmas. I'm an insomniac who loves her sleep and I am deathly ticklish.
